JOSEPH GRAHAM, of Lincoln County, N. C. has left a name renouned in history as a Revolutionary hero. His mantle has fallen upon his descendants. His youngest son, ex-Governor WILLIAM A. GRAHAM (who we have thought ought to be General, and perhaps would have been if he were the office- seeking sort) has five sons in the army. His sister, the youngest daughter of GEN. GRAHAM, and wife of the REV. DR. ROBERT H. MORRISON, has two sons and four sons-in-law in the service, two of the latter being "BETHEL" HILL and "STONEWALL" JACKSON. This is a record hard to beat. -- Fayetteville Observer File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/nc/lincoln/newspapers/apatriot123nw.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.poppet.org/ncfiles/ File size: 1.3 Kb
