   LOST-- In Charlotte, at the Tucksseege Ford, a bundle of NOTES stitched 
together in the form of a Note Book, all payable to me as Administrator of 
ROBERT BEATY, dec'd, to wit:
One on WILLIAM A. LAWING and others for $38
One on  WM. HANKS and others for $3.75
One on ROBERT GASTON and others for $2.04
One of JONATHAN P. BEATY and others for $47.03
One on ROBERT WILSON, A. GRIER, and P. C. CALDWELL, for $601
One on ROBERT WILSON, WM. H. McLEARY and A. GRIER for $1584.41
One on C. L. HUNTER and others for $328
One on WM. McLURE and P. C. CALDWELL for $723.50
One on JAS. LONEGAN, WM. LONEGAN & WM. DAVENPORT FOR $1143
One on ROBT. SLOAN, SR., R. SLOAN JR. and A. GRIER for $552.70
One on S. B. KNOX, ROBERT SLOAN and J. M. WILSON for $51
One on A. M. BEATY and others for $67.25
One on FREDERICK FORD and others for $67.25
One on MARY PARKER AND OTHERS FOR $783
One ON WM. S. CATHY and others for $10 
One on L. LIMEBARGER and others for $1110
One on JOHN HAWKINS and others for $2
One on SAMUEL BEATY and others, for $48.39
One on ROBERT SMITH and others for $25.87
One ON B. F. and FEATHERSTONE WILLS and others for $3371.50
One on P. OLIVER and SAML. BEATY for $870
One on WILLIAM BEATY and others for $385
All the above notes dather the 13th of February, 1840 and due in 12 months.
Also, one note on P. C. CALDWELL, date not recollected, for about $60 or $70 
due Feb. 13, last.
One on CYNTHIA BEATY, dated about the 13th of Feb. last, drawn one day after 
date, for $24.13.
One on SAM'L BEATY, date not recollected, due 1st July last.
One on BRIT WAGSTAFF, FOR $2 due Jan. 1st last
One on E. HANKS, WM. HANKS, SAM'L JOHNSTON and WM. McLURE for $381, dated 
about the 13th March last, due in 11 months.
All persons that gave such notes are notified not to pay them to any one but 
myself. Any information concerning the above papers will be thankfully 
received.
