She moved to this area in 1942 from Wilmington, N. C. Graduate of H. B. Plant 
High School,class of 1943, Tampa. Retired from L. M. Berry Co. Married James M. 
Clanton in 1948. Survivors: Husband, James; Sons, James M. Clanton, Jr., of 
Pembrook Pines, Fl. (Pembroke Pines) and Robert J. Clanton of Clearwater, Fl; 
one Brother; one Sister; three Grandchildren, James Robert Clanton of Miami, 
Fl., originally from Duke, N. C., Austin Matthew Clanton and Roberta Lee 
Clanton both of Tampa. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Sunday, June 17, 2007. Burial to 
follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fl. Brewer & Sons Funeral Home,
