Genealogical Abstracts from Newspapers of the German Reformed Church, 1830-1839, Barbara Manning author, Heritage Books, 1992
Rev. Robert Tucker, age 98, died “lately” [?ca June or July 1837] in Lincoln Co
NC from having swallowed Arsenic poison mistaken for some tea he was using for a
cough, he survived seven hours suffering intensely; notice published 19 July 1837.

Additional Comments:
Some NC Deaths from the book “Genealogical Abstracts from Newspapers of the
German Reformed Church 1830-1839”, by Barbara Manning; extracts from the
newspaper The Weekly Messenger of the German Reformed Church, published in
Chambersburg, PA. “Notice” refers to the date of publication in The Weekly
Messenger of the German Reformed Church.  Added information by this submitter is
in brackets [  ].
