We the Subscribers do hereby acknowledge ourselves Indebted unto James Turner 
Esqr. Governor of said State in the Sum of five hundred pounds. To him & his 
Sucessors in Office to be void on condition that there is no lawful Impedement 
to hender the Marriage of John Garrison with Elizabeth Johnson otherwise to 
stand & remain in full force & Virtue as Witness our hands & Seals this 24 day 
of Novr. AD 1804
