Last Will and Testament of John R Asbury, proved 1898

I J.R. Asbury of Lincoln Co. NC do make this my last will any or all other 
will heretofor made by me to be null and void.
1st I will all I may possess at my death-real and personal to my wife Polly R 
Asbury during her life.
2nd after the death of myself and my wife it is my will that all my personal 
property be given to my Five married daughters or their heirs except herein 
after mentioned.
3rd I will and bequeath to my son E.M. Asbury my Bible and bequeath him to 
keep same in the Asbury Family.
4th I will to my son E.M. Asbury at our death all my real estate.  He to Pay 
each of my married daughters one hundred dollars each and to my daughter Ida 
Asbury Five hundred dollars.
5th I do hereby appoint my son E.M. Asbury my sole executor of this my last will 
Sept 15 1894
