Located in Lincoln County Wills, 1769-1926, Bailey-Beatty, call number C.R.060.801.2 Last Will and Testament of John Beal 1810 In the Name of God amen I John Beale of Lincoln County and state of North Carolina am in a loe state of health [?] of perfect sence and emory doth appoint this to be my Last will and testament making void all other wills here to fore and what worly goods it hath pleased almighty god to [?] on me I [?] it as follows to wit I lend unto my loving wife Eliza Beale my hole astate [?] both Rial and personel Dureing her life and after her Death my Desier Is that my son John Beale should have the land and plantation that he know lives on. I give to my daughter Hollenbury Robertson one negro Gurl and her Increes. I also give to my Gran Daughter Isabel Heaker one cow and calf one bed and furniture and after my wife deth I Desier that my Estate may be sold and the money to be divided among my five children, Richard Beale, John Beale, William Beal Salley Nixon and Betsy Turner Haker is to have fifty Dollars more thant the Rest.
