I John Glenn Junr. Of Said County being
in South Carolina Spartinburgh District at at (sic) Mr. Elijah Browns
there I found Mrs. Mary Glenn wid. of John Glenn decd. very ill and
heard her declare that If she died she wished Mary Martin Daughter of
Jas. Martin her Grand daughter to have a Bay Mare which was then in
possession of Elijah Brown to have and to hold for ever I John Abb
["Abb" struck through] Glenn Certify that I heard Mary Glenn Make the
Above Declaration About twelve Months Ago Given under My hand & Seal
this 18 16 ["16" struck through] Day of July 1837.      Acknd. John B.
