Power of Attorney Robert Glenn Decd, 1825 Transcription of Power of Attorney follows**** State of Tennessee White County Sept 20th AD 1825 Know all men by these presents that we Elizabeth Glenn the widow of Robert Glenn Decd. Robert D. Glenn Samuel Glen James Glenn William Simmons and Rachel his wife James Simpson and Elizabeth his wife Samuel Wilson & Jane his wife heirs at law of Robert Glenn Decd. late of Lincoln County North Carolina do by these presents nominate constitute and appoint Jno. R. Glenn of the County of White in the State of Tennessee Aforesaid our Attorney in fact for us and in our names, Do and perform whatsoever may be necessary to Obtain a Distributive share of the Estate of the said Robert Glenn Decd. to which we are respectively entitled And we do hereby bind ourselves to ratify & Confirm all the lawful acts of him the said John R. Glenn Relative to the [p472] Prosecution of Our Claim aforesaid & we hereby invest him with full power to sue in our names for the Recovery of said property should it be necessary for him to do so And in Short to do and perform all the Acts that we could individually do or collectively perform were we negotiating the same Ourselves In testimony Whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals the day & year first above written.
