Estate Record for George Little 1832

The Heirs at Law of George Little, dec'd
Petition for Partition of Lands

To the Worshipful Justices of Lincoln County Court

Your Petitioners represent unto your worships that George Little lately
departed this life intestate, seised and possessed of the following tract of
Land in Lincoln County on Mountain Creek Bounded as follows-"Beginning at a
spanish oak his and Sherrels corner, and runs N5Wt22 poles to a black oak;
there N60Et20 poles to a pine; thence S30Et34 poles to a post oak; thence E61
poles to a pine; thence S4Et202 poles to a stake; thence S88Wt244 poles to a
black oak; thence N2Wt118 poles to a pine; then N20Wt34 poles to a black oak;
thence to the beginning, containing 275 acres" and leaving the following
children Lettice married John Wilkeson, Ann married to Mordecai Howard,
Martha, John, James, Mary, George, Rebecca, all of full age and all solicit
you worships to appoint five good free holders to go upon the above Lands and
with their surveyor to make an equal and fair partition and division there of
among your Petiones the children and heirs at Law of George Little dec'd and
that they return their proceedings with fair plats of Partition to the [?]
Lincoln County court under their hands and seals according to the Laws of N
Carolina and we as in duty Bound will [?].
