Little’s Will In The name of God amen. I S.C. Little of the County of Lincoln, the state of N.C. being of Sound mind and memory and knowing the uncertainty of life and the certainty of death do make and declair this my last Will and testament here by declairing all wills and testaments by me heretofore made to be null and void therefore that is to say 1st I will and bequeath to my wife Vassti E. Little the tract of land I now reside on joining the lands of James Clark Moses W. Sherrill and Robert A. Young containing one hundred acres more or less also mi one sixth in--- in the lands of my Dead Beloved father Hue Little containging 81 acres more or less a part of which is on waters of what is known as little’s creek. the other joining my farm before stated tract of lands. I now reside upon. and also my part in my mothers dowry together with all li--- I lack farming utensils and household and kitchen furniture also all other effects pertaining or belonging to the above Stated tracts or parts of tracts of land, and also my part of land and other property of my Decd. Sister. Nancy Little. also my negro woman named Linda and her increase for her to do as she pleases with the negro woman, if she cant make her mind her. allso all other effects not herein stated that may be found in my possession also all book accounts and notes due me to be collected and after my just Debts and all have been paid I also Will and bequeath that my remains intered in the grave yard at fairfield church. and that a suitable Slab be erected to my memory after all the above bequeaths and all have been complied with. then I will and bequeath all the within stated tracts of land and stock -- to my beloved wife her life time and at her death to be eaqueally Divided between my children. I allow my wife Vassti E. Little to do as she pleases with the negro woman sell her or keep her, and my will is that she shall hold all the rest of my property her life time. and then at her Death be eaqueally Divided among my children and lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint as my lawful executor, and executrix my friend W.W. Munday Esq. and my beloved wife Vassti E.
