The Last Will and Testament of Peter Lineberger, Sr. 1803 In the Name of God Amen I Peter Linebarger of Lincoln County being sick and weak of body but of a sound and perfect mind and memory praised be the Almighty god do make and ordain this my Last will and Testament in the maner and form following that is first and principal. I commend my soul into the hands of Almighty god hoping through the Marits Deed and passions and Interssesion of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to have full and [?] pardon and Remition of all my sins and wickednesses in General and attain [?] Life and my body I commit to the Earth to be Deacently buried at the Descretion of me Executors I shall hereafter Name. So first and chiefly my soul I con-[?] into the hands of God who gave it and my body I have committed the Earth to be Dessolved and turned [?] Dust in sure Sertain hopes that the General Reserection at the last Day it shall rise again to a joyful Reserection and pertak of my Lord and Saviour in his Eternal kingdom in his Glorified Body and there to live and Enjoy with him for Ever mor both in soul and body. Now as touching the disposial of all such temperal goods as it hath pleased Almighty god to bestow upon me I do give and Despose thereof ----[?]. Debts and funeral charges should be paid and discharged. Item I do give and Bequeth unto my Beloved wife Susanah Linebarger the house that I now live in and the barn and all the other building and Two hundred acres of Land the lower part of the Track that I now live on. Two sorral Mares and her saddle. Three choyse of cows and fore young cattle two or three year olds the best - and Iron harness two the best Beds and Bed Heads all the -oys on the plantation her choise of the Tables half Dozen Chairs one puter Disk one large Bason and one small one Nine plates and Nine spoons two cases of knives and forks one Big Wheel and flax Wheel one pare of cotton Chards and one pare of wood Chards fore sheep two Middle sise pots and one Iron pan one small pot the big looking glass the colt that the Old Sorrel Mare is with colt if it lives is to belong to my son Peters widow to my wife sixteen cups one puter tea pot all to belong to her that is willed to her Dureing her Widowhood and all the salt that is in the house and shugar and two the best horse gears. Item I do give to my son John Linebarger my Great Cole [?] in full of his portion. Item I do give unto my son Michael Linebarger one Hundred and Twenty Achres of Land the upper part the Track that my son John lives on in full of his portion. Item I do give unto my Daughter Elesabeth one Bed of furniture and two cows and one wheel and set of knives and forks one Dish two basons three spoons and thirty dollars in the Rest of the personal estate. Item I do give to my son Jacob Hill Linebarger the tract of Land that my wife has at ther Decease to belong to him. Item I do give unto my son David one Hundred and Seventy Achres below my son Johns on flat [?] Creek and part on the Blind branch and one Mare filley and my -[?] in full of his portion. Item I do give unto my son Daniel Two hundred achres of Land the upper part of the Old Plantation and one horse colt with a -[?] faice is full of his portion. All the rest and Resedue of my personal Estate I do give to be sold and Ecaly to be Divided between the Rest of my children whoose Name I shall hereafter Name Elisabeth - Thirty Dollars of the personal estate to be paid her Molley Linebarger, Jacob Hill Linebarger, --[?] Linebarger youngest child. Also I do make constitute and ordain my beloved wife and Frederick Linebarger son of Lewis Linebarger Executors of this my present Last will and testament and do hereby revoke Defanull and make void all former wills and testaments by me heretofre made and the only and no other to be taken for my last will and testament in testamony where of I have here unto let my hand and seal this Nineteenth Day of December one thousand Eight hundred and two.
