JOHN McCLURE - WILL (1818)
Be it known to all whom it may concern that I John McLure Sen. of the State of 
North Carolina and County of Lincoln being of Sound mind and Memory (Age only 
excepted) do on this 30th day of Dec.r 1818 Make ordain constitute this to be my 
last Will & Testament ~
and Whereas I have already Disposed of all my Real Estate and a considerable 
part of my personal Estate to my Children as they left me and I do hereby give 
and bequeath the Whole of my Estate which I now possess to my beloved Wife 
Elizabeth; consisting of some stock house & Kitchen Furniture with Money & all 
Notes Due to me to be held occupyd and possessed by her & disposed of as she may 
think proper and I do hereby appoint My wife Elizabeth and my son in law John 
Oats Junr Executors of this my last Will and Testament and I hereby revoke all 
former Wills and Testaments and declare this & this only to be my last Will and 
Testament in Witness whereof I have set my hand and seal the Day and date first 
written
