I do make this my Last Will and Testamant. First I recommend my soul to almighty God that give it and my body I recommend to the Earth to be Buried in A desent manner first of my estate I leave and bequeath to my eldest son Thomas Little five shillings this (illegible) to be levied of my Estate. Likewise my Daughter Martha wife to Joseph Crunkleton and her heirs three gowns and four petticoats and a check apron and a shift and five shillings sterling to be levied of my estate and further I leave to Son George Little Seventy-three dollars he is indebted to me and Further I Leave to my Daughter Mary Wife to William Clark and his heirs three gowns and a shift and four petticoats and a check apron and five shillings sterling to be levied of my and estate and further and foremost I leave Cornelius Clark --- and his heirs five shilling sterling to be levied of my Estate and Further I leave and bequeath to my Son James Reed recd my right and title of a Negroe Woman named Grace after my Death and further I leave and bequeath another Negroe Woman Named Patience to him and further I leave and bequeath to my Grand Daughter Polly Reed one Negroe Girl named Beck and likewise my bed and all the furniture belongs to it and further I leave her fifty dollars to school her to be levied of my estate belonging to the house( unreadable) bequeath to my grandson John Reed one Negroe girl Named Fan one bed and furniture and one Hundred Dollars to school him to be levied of my estate and further I leave and bequeath to my Grand Daughter Martha Reed fifty dollars and Two knoted Counterpins and a Coverlid to be levied of my estate and further I leave and bequeath to my Daughter-in-law Sally Reed my saddle and Big Pot and my chest and all my part of the pewter and all the other household furniture belonging to the house (unreadable) Ordain My Son George Little and Elexander McCorkle to be my sole executors of this my Last Will and Testement and I do hereby Disallow Revock and Disannul all and Every other Testemants wills and Leagecies and bequeaths and Executors by me in any wise before named Willed or Bequeathed Rattifying and confirming this to be my Last Will and Testament in witness whereof I set my hand and seal the Day and year above written Signed Sealed Pronounced and Declared By the named Lettis Reed in Presence of us William Little Lettis Reed James Bell her mark Robert Bell Alex McCorkle Sworn as Exec File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/nc/lincoln/wills/reed948wl.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.poppet.org/ncfiles/ File size: 3.3 Kb
