"In The Name of God Amane I Thomas Rhyne of County of Lincoln and State of North Carolina Being of a Sound and perfect memory through the Mercys of god Calling to mind the uncertain of life and that I Shortly must Change this mortal for an Immortal State I do make this my last will and Testament in the mannor and form Viz to my body I Commit to the dust from whenc it Came to be Buried in a Deasent and Christian manner at the Discretion of my Executors and my Soul I freely Surend to god that give it me in assurance of Reunion of Soal and body Again at the General Resurection and as to Such worly goods as it hath pleased god to bless me with in this life first I allow my Just debts to be paid= Item I will and bequath to my Son John Rhyne one hundred and fifty Acres of Land on the waters of Standlys Creek Joining Lands of Mick Rhyne and others=and I will and bequath to my Son Michal Rhyne one hundred Dollars = and I will and bequath to my Daughter Barbery Rhyne one Negro man named Jess and two hundred and thirty Dollars and bed and furniture and Bedon and I allow who Ever keeps her till her death is to have all her property and all the Rest of my property Rail and personal I allow to be Equally Devidid amongst my four Sons John Rhyne and Jacob Rhyne and Thomas Rhyne and Michal Rhyne Except what I willd and I do hereby Ratify and Confirm this to be my last will and Testament in witness I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this 2 day of June 1834" his I appoint and leave my son Thomas X Rhyne {Seal} John Rhyne my sole Exeutor mark W Rankin Richard Rankin Jurat Exr Sworn On Front Side: " July sessions 1837 The within Will was duly proved by Richard Rankin a witness thereto & Recorded Witness" ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Copyright.
