Jan. 1811 In the name of GOD, Amen. I Francis Rinck of Lincoln County and State of North Carolina, (Tanner) being in health and of sound mind and memory, thanks be unto GOD for the same. And calling to mind the uncertainty of this life and that it is appointed for all men once to die, to make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner for form following, that is - I commit my body to the earth from which it was taken to be buried with decent Christian burial at the discretion of my executors hereafter named, hoping to receive the same again by the miglt power of God. And, as for what worldly goods it hath pleased God to bless me with in this life, I do give and bequeath the same in the following manner and , I do give and bequeath unto my oldest son Jacob Rinck and his heirs for ever the plantation I now dwell on containing one hundred and fifty acres of Land, also another tract of Land adjoining the same, containing eighty six acres of land. He paying unto me his Father forty Dollars and mantaining me during my natural life if need requires the same, and he paying besides unto his brother George Rinck forty dollars. I also give and bequeath unto my son Andrew Rinck and his heirs for ever a tract of Land containing one hun- dred acres of Land, Lying on the waters of Henry's River Lincoln County, joining Fisher's land and others, also another tract adjoining the same on Rocky Creek, containing sixty acres. I also give and bequeath unto my sons John Rinck and David Rinck and their heirs for ever, a tract of land contain- ing two hundred acres of land lying on the waters of Clark's Creek, adjoining the plantation I at present live on. The said tract of Land to be equally divided between my said boys John and Davy - I also give and bequeath unto my son Francis Rinck and his heirs for ever a tract of one hundred acres of Land lying on the head waters of Clark's Creek, it being a tract of land I formerly purchased of Michael Mauser. I also acquit my daughter Catherine Haas of all she has received of my in rny life time, I bestowing that as her share in full of my estate - I do give and bequeath unto my daughter Susanna Rinck two cow and calves out of the stock which she chuses. And I do also give and bequeath unto my daughter Christina Rinck one cow and calf to be delivered unto her after my decease - it is also my will and desire that after my decease all my personable moveable estate, together with what leather that shall or may be on hand at that time may be sold at publick vendue. And the money from thence arising to be equally distributed amongst all my children (my daughter Catherine Haas and my wife Mary Rinck excepted). It is all also my will and desire that my son George Rinck should be punctually paid forty dollars by his brother Jacob Rinck as above specified in lieu of his having no land left to him like his other brothers has. And if my wife Mary Rinck (as she has absconded and left me to my detriment) does or should return to her duty and behave as a wife ought, my former exceptance shall be revoked, and she (if she'll except of it) come in for a child's share of my personable or moveable estate. If not it's my will and desire that she shall be excluded from all shares or claims she might otherwise have to my Estate, by one English Crown, which I do hereby Will unto her to be paid out of my Estate after my decease. And I do hereby nominate and appoint my trusty friends Martin Coulter and John Miller both of Lincoln County to be the Executors of this my Last Will and Testament. Hereby revolking and making void all former Wills, Legacies or Request by me made or testifying and confirming this to be my only Will and Testament.
