First I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Nancy Wells besides her dower of land all my housing furniture as plate and Bedding also my stock of cows, sheep and hogs excepting what I give to my Youngest Daughter Peggy Wells as hereafter directed also I give to my said wife my ball horse and bay mare and a man and womans saddle all to be at her disposal Second I give and bequeath to my son Samuel Wells all my land except what is run off to my son David Wells. also I give to my said son Samuel Wells our still & ____, blacksmith shop and tools, the Sorrel mare and colt and saddle also my wife's dower of land at her decease to descend to my said son Samuel Wells also the half of the stock of sheep bought of James and Moses Dunn belongs to Samuel Wells. Thirdly I give to my son David Wells the fifty four acres of land as run off to him including the bouse and barn and besides other land that I gave him as his part. Fourthly I give and bequeath to my daughter Peggy Wells Our feather bed and furniture and two cows 4 calves and some ____ ware Fifthly I give to my Grandson John Jenkins one young bay mare and saddle. Sixthly I give to my Grandson Elijah Jenkins one your colt of my bay mare foalded last spring. Seventhly and lastly I give to all my children married and single one dollar each and I do hereby appoint my two sons David and Samuel Wells Executors to this my last will and testament Witness hereof I set my hand and seal the day and date first mentioned.
