MACON CO., NC - CEMETERIES - Bobby Hill Cemetery

Surveyed October 12, 2002 by Lea Holland and Willadean Holland

Directions: From Hardee's in Franklin, take 64E. approximately one 
mile. Exit right onto the 64W bypass. Stay on this road about six or
seven miles. Turn right onto Old 64 highway, go past Loafer's Glory 
gas station, turn left onto Wayah Rd. Follow Wayah Rd. approximately
18 1/2 miles to Nantahala. There will be a gas station (Bateman's) 
on the left. From Bateman's, go about five miles to Windingstairs 
Rd., on the right. Follow Windingstairs Rd. to Briartown Church Rd.
Follow Briartown to Partridge Creek Rd. Turn left, go to Shields 
Creek Rd. There is a mailbox #335 on the right. Make a very sharp 
right turn and follow steep gravel road to cemetery.

Cemetery is in very bad condition. There are approxiamately 55 
graves that are marked only with fieldstones, with less than two 
dozen identified graves.
