Main St. and Bryson City Road in downtown Franklin, take Hwy. 28 (Bryson City Rd.) toward Swain Co. Go 9.8 miles. Turn right onto Oak Grove Church Road. Go 4/10 mile. Turn right onto Lakey Creek Road. Go 1.3 miles. Turn left onto a narrow gravel drive which is directly opposite the entrance to Clark Road (on the right side of Lakey Creek Rd.). You'll see the sign: Lakey Methodist Cemetery. The following record reflects the actual writing on the tombstone.
