This indenture entered into this 21st day of April
one thousand Eight Hundred and Sixty Eight
between John Foster on the one Part and
Daniel Guy and wife Mary having privately 
examined deposeth and sayeth she assigned 
all her right and title without any compulsion
on her part of the other part all of the County 
of Macon and State of N. Carolina wit-
nesseth that for and in consideration
of the sum of one hundred Dollars to
us in hand paid the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged I the said Daniel
Guy and wife have this day bargained
and sold and do by these bargain and
sell and convey a certain piece or parcel 
of land which is one fourth interest
in all the land owned by Samuel
Foster deceased in Macon County N. Caro-
lina on Commissioners Creek Section 21,
128 acres and Section 73 23 50 and Section 22
to have and to hold unto John Foster his
heirs administrators and assigns, with all
woods, waters, mines, minerals and hered-
itaments thereunto belonging. I the said Daniel
Guy and wife do bind ourselves, our heirs 
and administrators the so(?) sold land
from the claims of ourselves and heirs
and assigns and all others whatsoever,
in testimony we have set our hands
and seals the day and date first 
above written.
