Foster and Cora Foster, his wife, and M.C. Foster his mother, of Macon County and State of North Carolina. of the first part, to T.J. Vinson of Macon County, and State of North Carolina, of the second part: WITNESSETH, That said parties of the first part in consideration of Eighty Five ($8500.00) Hundred Dollars the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, have bargained and sold, and by these presents do bargain, sell, and convey to said T.J. Vinson and his heirs and assigns, a certain tract or parcel of land in [Macon] County, State of North Carolina, adjoining the lands of W.M. Ritter Lumber Company, Georgia State Line, and others, bounded as follows, viz.: First:-Being the three tracts or parcels of land, fully described in a deed from John Foster to J.M. Foster, A.P. Foster, and W.A. Foster, dated 31st Day of July 1886 and recorded in the register of deeds office in book of deeds “V” page 579, of the records of Macon County Second:-Being a tract of land containing about ten acres and more fully described in a deed from John Foster and wife to A.P. Foster dated the 6th day of December 1900 and recorded in the office of the register of deeds of Macon County in book of deeds “KK” page 380; Third:-Being a tract of land containing about 4 acres, known as the “Chapman tract” and more fully described in a deed from S.J. Corn and wife to W. Foster, dated the 5th day of May 1916 and recorded in the office of the register of deeds for Macon County, N.C., in Book of deeds “B4” of page 154 To which said deeds and records above referred to reference is hereby made for more fully description of said lands and premises as fully as if the same were herein written. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the aforesaid tract or parcel of land and all privileges and appurtenances thereto belonging, to the said T.J. Vinson, and his heirs and assigns, to their only use and behoof forever. And the said parties of the first part covenant with said T. J. Vinson, his heirs and assigns, that they are seized of said premises in fee and have the right to convey the same in fee simple; that the same are free and clear from all encumbrances, and that they will warrant and defend the said title to the same against the claims of all persons whomsoever.
