State of North Carolina Macon County Know all men by these presents
that I Abram Picklesimer for value Received of John Hooper of the
County and State aforesaid do assign and transfer unto the said John
Hooper all my Right title Clame and Interest to a Certain tract of
land lying and being in the County of Macon in District No Six and
Section No four Which land the Said Picklesimer Purchased at the
land Sail at Franklin on the 30th day of October 1822 Containing
Eightythree Acres as Represented in the Certificate obtained from
the Commissioners I Doe herby Direct and request the Secretary of
State to Issue a grant to the Said John Hooper as soon as he may
pay into the publick treasure of N Carolina Such Sum or Sums of
Money as may be Due and owing Said land in Witness Whereof I have
here unto Set my hand and Seal this Day the 17th of Feb 1835

the within Deed was was [sic] Acknowledged in open Court in
Proper person and ordered to be registered
