MACON COUNTY, NC - LAND RECORDS - Abraham Picklesimer to Watson, Wilson and Benson Picklesimer, 1834 ==================================================================== Submitted by Dawn Watson Note: the children named in this deed are: Watson Picklesimer, Wilson Picklesimer, Benson Picklesimer, Polly Picklesimer, Cloe Anna Picklesimer, George Picklesimer, and Abraham Picklesimer, Jr. p. 225, Deed Book A, 1829 - 1835, Macon Co., NC State of North Carolina Macon County Know all men by these presents that I Abraham Picklesimra of the State and County aforesaid in Consideration of the natural love and affection Which I have and bear for my Children Watson Wilson and Benson Picklisimere and also for Divers other good Causes and Considerations me the Said Abraham Picklesimer hereunto [illegible] have given granted and Confirmed and by these Presants do give grant and Confirm unto the said Watson Wilson and Benson Picklesimer all and Singular my goods Chattles and Personal Estate Whatsoever in [illegible] Custody or persession soever they be to have hold and Issue[?] all and Singular the Said goods chattles and personal Estate aforesaid unto the Said Watson Wilson and Benson Picklesimer there Executors administrators and Assigns forever for[?] and[?] the said Watson Wilson and Benson Picklesimer doe give unto me the Said Abraham Picklesimer a Sufficient Maintaneance from the [illegible] of these Presants and During my life and give unto their Sisters and half Brothers When they become of age as follows viz one good cow and calf to Polly one Ditto Ditto to Cloe Anna and a young horse beast to Each of there half Brothers afore named viz George and Abraham Picklesimer Jr and I the said Abram Picklesimer sell and Singular the Said goods Chattles Personal estate and other then Premises[?] to the Said Watson Wilson and Benson Piklesimer there Exeutors Administrators and assigns against me the said Abraham Picklesimer my Executors and Administrators and Assigns and all and every other Person and Persons Whatsoever Shall and Well Warrent and forever defend by these Presents of all and Singular Which Said goods Chattles personal Estate and other the premises I the said Abraham Picklesimer have put the Said Watson Wilson and Benson Picklesimer in full possession by Delivering to them one Certain gelding at the time of the Sealing and Delivering of these Presents in the name of the whole Premises hereby granted In Witness Where of I hereunto Set my hand and Seal this nineteenth day of Febuary in the year of our one thousand Eight hundred and thirty four test J[?] Brown Abraham Picklesimer {seal} Benjamin Hooper Jefferson Mess[?] N Carolina Macon County Court of please and quater Session Febuary Session 1835 the within Deed of gift was acknowledged in open court [illegible] and ordered to be Registered John Tatham Clk Came to hand the 15th of March 1835 Certified by Jn Howard RMC The above Deed of gift was Registered in this office the 4th of April 1835 Certified by J Howard RMC ==================================================================== Copyright.
