This Indenture made this sixteenth of februry in the year of our
Lord one thousand Eight hundred and Thirty two & in the fifty sixth
year of the Independence of the United States of america Betwen
Jesse Standredge of the one part & Jesse Saunders of the other part
Both of the County of Macon & State of North Carolina - Witnesseth
that the sd. Jesse Standredge for & in consideration of the sume of
two hundred & fifty Dollars to him in hand paid by the sd. Jesse
Saunders before the ruling & delivering of these presents (the
Receipt whereof is hearby acknoledged) hath given granted bargined
sold [en***ffed] convayed & confirmed & by these presents doth give
grant bargin sell [en***ff] convay & confirm unto him the sd. Jesse
Saunders a Certain Tract or parcal of Land Containing by Estimation
Eighty acres more or less in sd. County of Macon on Standredges
Creek to be taken off the west end of section No. 97 in District No.
15 & Runs west with sd. line to a black gum the second Corner of sd.
setion the distance of one hundred & ten poles & from thence Runs
north one hundred & twenty poles to a black oak the third corner of
sd. section thence East one hundred & ten poles to a black gum
thence South one hundred and twenty poles to the Begining Togather
with all woods watters mines minerals heridisments[?] &
apprentenances the same Belonging or in aney wise appertaining to
have & to hold to him the sd. Jesse Saunders his his [sic] heirs and
assigns forever to the onley proper use & behoof of him the sd.
Jesse Saunders his heirs and assigns forever & he the sd. Jesse
Standrege and his heirs all & singular the premises hearby Barganed
and sold with the appurtenances unto the said Jesse Saunders his
heirs and assigns against him the said Jesse Standredge & his heirs
and all and Every person & persons whatsoever whatsoever [sic] shall
warrant and forever Defend the same by these presence In Testimony &
witness whereof the sd. Jesse Standrege hath hearunto set his hand &
Seal the day & year first above written
