CLAYTON, RABUN CO., GA.

 - Miss Lizzie Duncan who has been sick for some time is able to be out
on the piazza again. 

 - Miss Ida Duncan who has been to Cornelia with her sister four months
has returned home. 

 - The Baptist Union meeting will be held here commencing next Friday. 

 - Mr. Dillingham who has been boarding at the Wall House for a long
time has gone to the Falls for summer. 

 - Quite a crowd of youngsters went up to Screamer mountain last week,
took their dinner and spent the day and had a fine time. They returned
loaded with flowers. 

 - Mr. R.A. Whitmire has left us and gone down the country. 

 - Mr. Gus Swafford was in town trading with our merchants last week.
Gus is a popular drummer here. 

 - Eddie Simmons who had been going to school in the Valley has
returned home. 

 - Our clerk was over the other day.
