The plans have been drawn and the matter is under consideration. We hope it will take definite shape soon. No better investment could be made, and it would give Franklin an impetus that would lend to other great improvements. - Capt. G.W. Graves, a retired army officer of England, spent a few days of last week in our town, and made the PRESS office a pleasant call. The Capt. is an intelligent, courteous gentleman and possesses the happy tact of impressing one favorably upon first introduction, an impression that grows with acquaintance. He has purchased property at Murphy [Cherokee Co, NC] where he has been residing since 1887, but on account of his position and financial interests in England he has not taken out naturalization papers in America. Henceforth the Capt. will be a reader of the PRESS. ___________________________________________________________________ Copyright.
