They were brought direct from Montana by Mr. Norris, formerly of Oconee County, S.C., who went to Montana about twelve years ago. - Mr. Jas. R. Ritchie killed a very fine hog a few days ago which weighed 410 lbs, neat. It was a Berkshire and was only a little over one year old. - There is some talk to burning Mr. Hiram Dillard's hat. It is a girl this time and Hiram is stepping high. - Grandmother McKinney is very ill having been so for some time. she is one of the first settlers of our county. - Our School is progressing finely.
