RABUN GAP ITEMS (Local Affairs) PUBLISHED IN THE FRANKLIN PRESS, Feb.

RABUN GAP, RABUN COUNTY, GA.

 - Married at the residence of W.E. Powell, Esq., on the 8th inst. Mr.
Geo. Prince, of Tennessee, and Miss Laura Moore, of Rabun county, Ga.

 - Mr. R.E.L. Dillard has been very ill for some time. 

 - Sheriff A.L. Dillard has gone to Millegeville to convey an insane
man by name of Sam Burton to the asylum. 

 - Mr. M.B. Darnell buried another child a few days ago that had died
of diptheria. -- A.G.D.

 - Prof. Hicks has a flourishing school at Rabun Gap. 

 - Miss Laura Ritchie left Saturday for Pine Mountain to take charge of
the school at that place.
