MACON COUNTY, NC -- NEWSPAPERS -- SMITH's BRIDGE ITEMS, APRIL 1892 SMITH's BRIDGE ITEMS (Local Affairs) PUBLISHED IN THE FRANKLIN PRESS, April 27, 1892 - Vol. VII, No. 6 SMITH's BRIDGE, MACON CO., NC - Mr. Bill Mozeley, and son, henry, of Clayton, Ga., were visitng Mr. H.T. Mozely this last week. - The young people enjoyed a singing at Asbury last Sunday evening, led by Messrs. W.P. Cabe and W.E. Mozeley. - Mrs. Dicey Conley has been attacked with chills since her return from Indian Territory where she spent some time with her son George. - Mr. & Mrs. Jake Collins have had the misfortune to lose their daughter, aged about 13 years, who died a few days ago, and they have three other children sick. - Miss LInnie Cline, an aged lady, has beenvery sick lately, but is improving.
