Nov. 17.-We are having some cold weather now. There will be a box supper at Poplar Cove school house Saturday night, November 20th. Everybody Come. Mr. Dewey Sweatman returned to Piedmont, S. C., after spending a few days with home folks. Born to Mr. and Mrs. Lester Dills, November 10th, a fine boy. Mr. Lyman Sweatman spent Tuesday with home folks. Mrs. Joe Sweatman spent Saturday and Sunday with friends and relatives at Franklin. Rev. J. L. Kinsland preached his regular appointment at the Baptist church Saturday and Sunday. There will be Sunday school at the Baptist church Sunday at ten o'clock. Everybody come and bring some one with you. The W. M. U. will meet again at the church Sunday afternoon.
