Love, after nine years of suffering with epileptic fits, died last Friday morning at one o'clock. On Tuesday evening he had several fits and another in the night. Wednesday morning he got up early and started the fire, and after breakfast the men left for their work, and his mother went to the stable to milk her cows and left the youngest boy to watch his brother. He went to the kitchen and was standing by the fire and was suddenly attacked and fell backwards into the fire. His back and right arm were severely burned. He was in the fire about five minutes. he had a coat, vest, and two shirts on him, and all were burned off except the wristband on the left arm. His right arm lay between two sticks of wood in the blaze. He lived 42 hours and died. He was a bright boy up to nine years of age, when he was first attacked with epilepsy. He had been burned slightly two or three times before. He died last Friday at the age of 21 years. I write this at the request of Mr. and Mrs. J.A. Love. I waited on him till he died.
