Gibson Justice of the Peace after being notified proceeded to summon M. J. Mashburn and J. W. Sheffield, to go to Jane Beasley widow of Reuben Beasley, Dec'd, and proceeded to lay off and allot to said widow, Jane Beasley one years allowance. Found her family to consist of no other person but herself entitled to the benefit of the law in such cases made & provided. Honey used and on hand, 3 Head of Cattle, 1 Bell, 18 Hed of Hogs, 6 Head of sheep, 1 Horse Bridle & saddle, about 45 Bu. of standing corn, 7 chairs, 4 wooden vessels, 1 spinning wheel, 1 Loom, 3 Books & 2 pocket books, 1 Pocket Knife; Mining Tools, 1 Hammer, 2 picks, 1 Drill and [this space left blank] lbs of Powder; Mechanical Tools on hand, Saw, Drawing knife, three old Augers, 1 Hammer, 1 Jack Plaine, Scribing Compass, 1 note of hand in favor of the estate against Henry Ramsey & his wife Lucinda for $25.00 dated 5th December 1879, due one day after date.
