    ACCIDENT TO DR. YANCY
   We regret to learn from the Asheville News that DR. JOHN YANCY of Madison, 
was thrown from his horse a few days since, and very seriously injured, having 
three of his ribs broken. The News says he is improving and trusts he will 
soon be up again.
