MADISON COUNTY, NC - OBITUARY - Mace Buckner, 1 Feb 1929 ----¤¤¤¤---- Asheville Citizen Microfilm page 121 2-22-1929 Little Mace Buckner Dies The Death Angel visited the home of Mr. and Mrs. Noah Buckner, Feb 1, 1929, and called away their loving daughter. The cause of her death was said to be acute indigestion. We were sorry to see her go for she was a bright child. She leaves to mourn her death, her father and mother. We are sad without her, home is lonesome now, for we cannot see her. Her father was at Detroit when she died and he came in to see her. Little Mace is gone on home where there is no more suffering and pain and sad parting. We hope some day to meet her on that beautiful shore. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Mr. Everett Sprinkle Sunday afternoon. There were some beautiful flowers. She was laid at rest in North Fork cemetery. Written by a friend. Second article. We are sorry to report the death of Inas Buckner, Feb.1, 1929. She was the small daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Noah Buckner, and was only two years and three months old. We feel out loss is heaven's gain. The bereaved ones have our deepest sympathy. ___________________________________________________________________ Copyright.
