Death Of Mr. Jesse Clark
The Death Angel entered the home of Mr. Bryant Clark on Friday, Oct. 4th at
2 o'clock and took a dear father from the family.  He was 62 years of age
and leaves six children; Mr Bryant, Weaver and Letcher Clark of Big Sandy
Mush and Tone and Lida Clark of Little Sandy and Mr. Gudger Clark of Marion,
N. C., five brothers and two sisters and 20 grand children beside a host of
friends and other relatives.
His sufferings were great here but he said he was ready to go.  The remains
were laid at rest at the Brick church cemetery, Sunday at 11 o'clock.  The
services were conducted by Rev. Bob Self and Rev. B. B. Plemmons.  They made
nice talks, especially to the dear children.  Let us, as Christians, pray
for them that they may make themselves ready to meet the dear father and
mother that have gone on before.
