Funeral services for the infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oliver W. Ferguson,
of near Marshall, were conducted at the Rector's Chapel Cemetery, a short
distance south of here, last Friday afternoon.

The child lived only a short time after birth.  The mother is in a critical
condition.  Prior to her marriage, Mrs. Ferguson was Miss Elouise Swan, of
Weaverville, and is well known there and in this section.
