Mrs. Jane Franklin, wife of Reubin Franklin, died suddenly of goiter heart
at her home on Big Laurel last Saturday.  She had not been well for some time, 
but no one thought her so ill, and she was considered to be getting better.
Her son was away at the time and her husband had been in Marshall when death
came to her suddenly at 4:00 o'clock.  She was reading a paper and suddenly
fell over.
She leaves her husband and a son.  All join with these in their sorrow and
wish for them consolation.
