MADISON COUNTY, NC - OBITUARY - Mrs. H. Holland, 5 Jan 1935 ----¤¤¤¤---- Asheville Citizens Newspaper Date: 1-10-1935 Microfilm page 223 Mrs. H. Holland, 84, died at 2:00 A. M., Jan. 5, 1935, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R. W. Arrowood, on Spillcorn in this county. Death was attributed to influenza and complications, following an illness of four weeks duration. The funeral was from the Shelton Cemetery at 2:00 P. M., Sunday, conducted by the Rev. M. H. Shelton. The deceased is survived by her husband, Mr. H. Holland; one brother, John Shelton of Unicoi county, Tenn.; six children, as follows: one son, the Rev. M. H. Shelton of White Rock; five daughters, Mrs. John H. Hensley, Mrs. Lone Wallin and Mrs. Rance Wallin of Big Laurel, Mrs. Alpha Tweed of White Rock, and Mrs. R. W.
