Mrs. Hattie Peek Dead

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon in the first Methodist church,
Hendersonville, for Mrs. Hattie Peek, wife of W. W. Peek and sister of State
Senator Plato D. Ebbs.  Burial was in the Hendersonville cemetery.

Mrs. Peek is survived by her husband, six small children and her father and
mother, Mr. and Mrs. Jasper Ebbs, Spring Creek.  She is also survived by
three brothers, Plato, C. J. and D. V. Ebbs of Asheville, and three sisters,
Mrs. Arthur Lewis and Mrs. John Gardner, Hot Springs and Mrs. H. A. Angel,
Burlington, N. C.
