W. C. Ray of Mars Hill died at Asheville on Tuesday of last week.  His body
was brought back to the old home graveyard.
The Funeral services were conducted by Pastor Akin [Next few words are
unreadable]
Mr. Ray was a brother-in-law of  Judge J. C. Pritchard and was one of the
leading citizens of the county.
He had a stroke of apoplexy three years ago and never recovered.
