J. A. Rector Will Be Buried This Afternoon. J. A. Rector, 74 years of age, confederate veteran, died yesterday at 52 Pennsylvania Avenue, West Asheville. He is survived by three daughters: Mrs. L. C. Smith of Marshall; Mrs. O. C. [should be Mrs. O. L.] Davis, of Marshall, and Miss Lillie Rector, of Asheville; Three sons, R. E., Claude, and Arthur Rector. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 O'clock this afternoon at Marshall. [Madison Co., NC.] NOTES: Mrs. L. C. Smith, was Leona Rector Mrs. O. L.
