On January 1st, 1929, at 10:15 A. M., James Terrell Redmon, 7 months and one
day old son of Mr. and Mrs. James Redmon of Marshall, died after an illness
of nine days, cause of death being pneumonia.
The funeral was from the home at 1:00 P.M. on January 2nd, conducted by the
Rev. J. T. M. Knox,
pastor of the Presbyterian church here.
The pallbearers were:  Will B. Ramsey, Jr., Bruce Redmon, Emmett Ramsey,
Pender McElroy, Wiler  Sprinkle, and Waldon Roberts.
The flowers at this funeral were profuse and very beautiful.
The deceased is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Redmon of
Marshall, N. C.
Out-of-town attendants at the funeral were:  Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Byrd, Miss
Ruth McGuire, Miss Evelyn Baley, and Mrs. Geo. M. Pritchard.
