MADISON COUNTY, NC - OBITUARY - William Runnion, 13 Mar 1911 ----¤¤¤¤---- Asheville-Citizens Times Marshall, Madison Co., NC Microfilm page 15 FBN 3-16-1911 William Runnion Last Monday, at 11 o'clock in the morning Mr. William Runnion died. He has been sick for some four years or more, having suffered an attack of paralysis at that time. Since then he has had one more attack which incapacitated him from heavy work. For the last two or three weeks he has been worse, but it was not until last Satarday that he became very bad. From that time until his death he was unconscious except at times when he awoke. Sunday night he became much worse and at eleven o'clock Monday departed from this life. Mr. Runnion has always lived an exemplary life and every one [next line unreadable] hearty greeting. The funeral service was conducted at the house and his remains were laid to rest at the family burial gorunds. The News extends to the family its most sincere condolences in this irreparable loss of husband and father. There remain to mourn his loss his wife and two sons and three daughters. A large number of the Masons of Marshall Lodge and others were present at the funeral.
