                             TO LEWIS CONE

ISAIAH CONEšs SHARE SOLD To LEWIS CONE

This Indenture made this 12th day of June one Thousand Seven Hundred and 
Ninetynine Between William Wallace high Sherriff of the county of Martin 
and State of North Carolina of the one Part and Lewis Cone witnesseth 
that whereas an order court Issued from the court of the county afsd. at 
the Instance of Jesse cone Directing me to Sell the Right of Isaiah Cone 
in the Land of Cone (sic) decd did Expose the same for Sail it being 
first advertized according to Law which was Struck off to said Lewis 
Cone he being the highest Bidder. Know ye therefore that I William 
Wallace high Sheriff for and Inconsideration of the sum of Eight pound 
to me in hand Paid by the said Lewis Cone the Receipt wherof as 
acknowledged. I the sd William Wallace hath according to Law at Publick 
sail aforesaid hath Bargained sold and by these Presents doth Bargain 
Sell convey and confirm unto the sd Lewis Cone all the Rights title 
Intrust Propperty claim and Demand the said Isaiah Cone he his assigns 
unto the Land Belonging mentioned with all and Singular the 
appurtanances to have and to hold with all the Priviledges thereunto 
Belonging to have and to hold the said Part or Parcill of Land unto the 
said Lewis Cone to him and his Heirs forever in witness whereof the sd 
Wm. Wallace High Sheriff have Set as by an order of sd. court. Directed 
Set my hand by virtue of my office set my hand and seal this date above 
Signed Sealed and Delivered.
