June 6, 1827

Know all men by these presents that I HENRY SWANER of the State of North 
Carolina and county of Martin have for and in consideration of the natural 
love and affection which I have and bearth unto my son Jesse SWANER have 
given and do fairly give him the said Jesse SWANNER my houses and land 
whereon I now live, the land said to be one acre adjoining the town line of 
Williamston and also one negro boy by the name of George, to him and his 
heirs forever reserving the same rights in my natural life. In witness 
whereof I the said Henry SWANER have herewith set my hand and seal this 6th 
day of June 1827 signed sealed and returned in the presence of Duckson 
Davis.

State of North Carolina, Martin County June Term 1829 this deed was 
acknowledged in open court and ordered to be registered.
