A. 1920 Call number C970.9 F61 c.2 (North Carolina Collection, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill) The book tells the story of the 113th Field Artillery 30th Division of WW1 which consisted mostly of North Carolina soldiers. There were 4 soldiers from Martin County, NC. Pvt. S. W. Mendenhall, Williamston, N. C. Corp. H. L. Ross, Robersonville, N. C. Pvt. E. T. Smith, Robersonville, N. C. Pvt. 1st Cl. R. J. Yates, Oak City, N. C. The book tells the story of what these men went through during the first World War.
