MARGARET COUNCIL KNIGHT

WAKEFIELD – Mrs. Margaret Council Knight, 66, died Sunday in Obici Hospital, 
Suffolk.

She was the retired owner and operator of the Knights Country House Restaurant 
and a member of Rocky Hock United Methodist Church. She was a native of 
Robinsonville, N.C.

Survivors include her husband, Ben E. Knight of Wakefield and a sister, Mrs. 
Thelma C. Wilkins of Edenton, N.C.

Services were Tuesday in the Purviance Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry 
W. Edwards officiating. Burial was in Rocky Hock church cemetery.

The family request that memorial donations be made to the Waverly or Ivor rescue 
squads.
