Will book 2, page 86, date of will 24 Feb 1812, date recorded not given, being in a low state of health but of sound mind and memory blessed be God - - beloved wife, Elizabeth Joyce all my lands and plantation during her life of widowhood and after her death to be disposed of as follows: to my son (Abnejat) Joyce one third of my land at the lower end to him and his heirs forever; to my son Daniel Joyce after the death of my beloved wife, one third part of my land in the middle so as to include the house; to my son John Joyce one third part of my land after the death of his mother at the upper end next to the swamp to him and his heirs forever; to my daughter Tabitha Joyce one feather bed and furniture, one cow and calf to her and her heirs forever; to my daughter Patsey Joyce one cow and calf and feather bed to her and her heirs forever; to Sally Congleton my daughter one cow and calf and one bed and furniture, sow and pigs that she has in her possession to her and her heirs forever; to my daughter Elizabeth Joyce five shillings; all of my property not already given away to be divided equally among my three sons and two daughters Abnejal Joyce, Daniel Joyce, John Joyce, Tabitha (or Talitha) Joyce and Patsey Joyce, executor worthy friend Jesse Cherry and my beloved wife, Elizabeth Joyce, signed Martin Joyce, wit.
