She is Annie Glen. I am interested in finding her father's will is anyone out there has it. Based on this will her mother may have been a Ward.] Will of Francis E. Roberson, 1876 Page 109 Martin Co. Will Book In the name of God Amen. I Francis E. Roberson of the county of Martin and State of North Carolina being in sound mind but of weak body and considering that my earthly end is near at hand do make and declare this to be my last Will and Testament in manner and form as follows viz: Item: I give and bequeath to my daughter Annie Glenwood Roberson all my property of every description both real and personal whold unto her and her heirs in fee simple and absolutely. The property being one tract of land in Bertie County - containing one hundred acres more or less and known as the Poor House tract and also one fourth interest in one tract of land situated in the same county - containing one hundred acres more or less, it being the tract of land upon which my mother Sarah E. Ward now resides to her and her heirs forever. Item: I also give and bequeath to my said daughter Annie Glenwood Roberson the one half interest in a piano owned jointly between me and my sister Mrs. William Ann Askew. Item: I also give and bequeath to my daughter Annie Glenwood Roberson my real property in the town of Williamston to wit one house and lot upon which I now reside and one shop in which Eli Askew is now doing business to have and to hold unto her and her heirs forever in fee simple. Though should my daughter Annie Glenwood Robertson die at anytime without leaving any heirs of her body my will and desire is that my sister Mrs. William Ann Askew shall take to her and her heirs forever in fee simple the real property belonging to me in Bertie County and also the half interest in the Piano in question. Should also my said daughter Annie Glenwood Roberson die without heirs of her body my will and desire is that the real property situated in Williamston shall go to my husband joseph A. Robertson and his heirs forever. And lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint my friend Abner S. Williams my lawful executor to this my last will and testament according to the true interest and meaning thereof and every part and clause thereof. Williamston June 3, 1876 (signed) F. E. Robertson deceased being returned to the undersigned Judge of Probate for Martin County for Probate and it appearing from the oath examinatiose and affidavit of R. S. Hallsey and John A. Duggan _________ _________thereto that the said Francis E. Robertson died on 3rd une 1876 publish and declare the said paper writing to be her last Will and Testament and Signed the same in their presence: That they subscribe their names thereto as attesting _______ at her request and in her presence and in the presence of each other. That she was of full age and sound mind to execute a will and under no restrint what ever to their knowledge, information and belief.
