PROCTOR CEMETERY

McDowell County, NC

This cemetery is in Marion, NC on the north side of town.  From the middle of 
town go east one block and turn north on North Garden St. After a few blocks 
find Fleming Ave. going off to the right and follow it almost to the stop sign 
at the end of the street where it runs into Airport Rd. The cemetery is on the 
east side of Fleming about four or five hundred feet before the stop sign. I 
was there May 4, 2001. There is quite a number of unmarked graves and graves 
marked with fieldstones.
